Everyone gets all excited when Starbucks and other coffee shops reintroduce their Pumpkin Spice Latte. If you never heard of these 1. You live under a rock 2. You are not connected to any social media as there is always someone who snaps a pic of their latte cup and quotes “It’s back!”
I am a sucker for pumpkin anything… coffee, cakes, cookies, pies, muffins, pasta sauce, etc. So it is obvious that I am a regular at the coffee shop when they’re serving the seasonal pumpkin lattes. However, if I were to get one every day not only would I get sick of them, but my wallet would look very sad. I get my pumpkin fix by using Coffee Mates Pumpkin Spice creamer. I picked up the sugar-free one afraid it would taste really aspartame-y, but it didn’t and 1 Tbsp is zero weight watcher points so I suggest for you WW folk.
Yesterday, I wanted something more than the creamer. I wanted a latte and right then. Well, I was in my PJs still and didn’t have to leave for work for another two hours. I raided my cupboard and found a can of pumpkin. I was contemplating whipping together a batch of the most delicious pumpkin cookies EVER, but that would take too long. Bryan had just brewed some coffee so I decided to create my very own Pumpkin Spice Latte. It definitely satisfied my craving and spiced up (pun intended) my regular morning coffee routine.
